You'd think from the title of this article you should take your sweet time in making a selection on a wedding venue by weighing every possible option on the market. But doing that might just get you into trouble!
1. Do know the overall aesthetic
you'd like your wedding day to have.
If that is something that makes you scratch your head, follow this link and get that hammered out, asap! And if you're automatic reflex is to refer to your Pinterest boards, stop now and also follow this link. It's easy, peasy. You just didn't know where to look until now. :) I promise!
2. Do make your guest list before you book a venue.
You'll need to know a general estimate of how many people will be attending to make sure the venues you're interested in have enough space for everyone on your guest list. This will be the first question any venue personnel will ask you, so have a general number in your mind!
3. Don't wait until the last minute to book!
(I saved this most important factor for last!)
It is crucial that you book your dream venue quickly!

In Utah, the average engagement is much shorter than any other state in the U.S. But that certainly doesn't mean that there aren't brides besides yourself in Utah planning their wedding for well over a year. And you guessed it, you're in competition with all of them to secure a date at your dream venue too. That makes it all the MORE important to work quickly on this part of your wedding planning!
So hop to it, sister! Call those dream venues of yours and get that part set in stone! But only AFTER you read this post to help you decide what type of venue to be on the lookout for!
